OUR STORY
Where it all began!
I’m a full-time teacher and full-time dog mum to River, my best friend and co-founder. She arrived home on Christmas Eve 2021 and she instantly became the centre of my world.
I’ve always been drawn to the outdoors — countryside walks, quiet woodland trails, and muddy boots. But what I truly wanted was more time with River. So I took my creativity, our connection, and a deep love for slow living… and started something new. A brand built for dog lovers like me. Like us.
She’s not your regular sausage. River is 3 now, obsessed with tennis balls, and madly in love with her toy piggy. She lives for running through long grass, chasing water, and sniffing every flower in sight. She is more than just my pet, she’s is my soul sister, the muse behind every design. She tests it all — if a harness can’t keep up with her zoomies, it doesn’t make it into the collection.
RIVER & WILD began with River and the simple joy we share when we’re outside together. She’s not your typical sausage dog — she’s wild at heart, full of energy, and happiest when her paws are muddy and she’s darting through long grass. Spending time with her in nature became my escape, my peace, and the place I felt most myself.
I started RIVER & WILD because I wanted to create something that reflected that feeling — the calm, the connection, and the quiet beauty of being outdoors with your best friend.
Every piece I design is inspired by that lifestyle: earthy tones, natural textures, and thoughtful details that are both practical and beautiful. It’s dog-wear made for slow mornings, spontaneous adventures, and wild afternoons.
River is more than just my dog — she’s the reason behind all of this. And if you’ve ever looked at your dog and felt totally present, completely calm, and a little more human — then this brand is for you.
