Delivery and Returns

At River & Wild, we craft products with care and dispatch them with the same attention to detail.

Delivery
Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 working days (Monday–Friday, excluding UK bank holidays). During seasonal launches or promotional events, processing times may extend slightly.

You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been shipped, including tracking information where applicable.

UK Shipping

• Standard Delivery: 2–4 working days

• Express Delivery: 1–2 working days

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

River & Wild is not responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs, adverse weather, or events beyond our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for ensuring delivery details are correct at checkout. We cannot guarantee recovery of parcels delivered to incorrectly provided addresses.

Returns & Exchanges

We hope you and your dog love every River & Wild piece. However, if something isn’t quite right:

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods for a full refund.
You then have an additional 14 days to return the item to us.

Return Conditions
Items must be:

• Unused and in original condition

• Free from pet hair, odour, or damage

• Returned in original packaging

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

• Used collars, harnesses, leads, or wearable accessories

• Personalised or custom-made items

• Sale or clearance items (unless faulty)

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these standards.

Refunds

Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving returned goods and will be issued to the original payment method.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the item is faulty.

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of this website and all purchases made from River & Wild via Shopify.

By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts.

1. Products & Craftsmanship

We take great care to ensure that product descriptions, imagery, and specifications are accurate. However:

• Colours may vary slightly due to screen displays.

• Natural materials may show minor variations, this is part of their character.

All products are subject to availability.

2. Pet Safety & Owner Responsibility

River & Wild products are designed as premium accessories, they are not indestructible or safety devices.

By purchasing and using our products, you acknowledge:

• You are responsible for ensuring correct sizing and fit.

• You must regularly inspect products for signs of wear.

• No collar, lead, harness, or accessory is chew-proof or escape-proof.

• Dogs must never be left unattended while wearing accessories that could pose a risk.

River & Wild are not be liable for:

• Injury resulting from improper sizing or misuse

• Damage caused by chewing or excessive force

• Failure to supervise your pet

• Use of products outside their intended purpose

Our liability is strictly limited to the purchase price of the item.

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.

We reserve the right to change pricing without notice.

Payment is taken at checkout via Shopify’s secure payment gateway.

4. Klarna Payment Option

We offer Klarna as a flexible payment option.

Klarna payment services are provided by Klarna Bank AB (publ). By selecting Klarna at checkout:

• You agree to Klarna’s separate terms and conditions.

• Approval is subject to Klarna’s eligibility criteria.

• Late or missed payments may incur fees from Klarna.

River & Wild does not control Klarna’s decisions, fees, or credit assessments.

5. Promotional Codes

• Only one discount code may be used per order unless otherwise stated.

• Codes must be entered at checkout and cannot be applied retrospectively.

• Promotions cannot be exchanged for cash.

• We reserve the right to withdraw or amend promotions at any time.

Orders that breach promotional terms may be cancelled.

6. Limitation of Liability

River & Wild shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including loss, injury, or veterinary costs arising from misuse or improper fitting of products.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by negligence

• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

• Any liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK law

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Dog Accessory Disclaimer

Our accessories are crafted for style, comfort, and everyday adventures, but pet safety always comes first.

Please note:

• Always measure your dog carefully before purchase.

• Ensure a secure but comfortable fit (two-finger rule recommended).

• Remove accessories during crate time or unsupervised periods.

• Inspect hardware, stitching, and material regularly.

• Replace immediately if wear or damage appears.

No product is indestructible.
River & Wild is not responsible for injuries, loss, or damage caused by:

• Chewing

• Excessive pulling

• Alterations or modifications

• Improper use or supervision failure

Your dog’s wellbeing remains your responsibility as their owner.
